Career Readiness
The Collective prepares students for the games industry through free workshops and guest speakers to provide a real feel for what it is like to work in the field.
EGD's Game Studio Program and Esports Management Program are fellowships for students interested in studying game development or esports management. These programs are national or university system-based, depending on the infrastructure and course offerings available to students at their college.
In addition, EGD subsidizes tickets to industry events for students to network and learn.
EGD's flagship event Waffle Games, is a 100% free convention and conference with a mission to make the games industry a more affordable and accessible career path and to promote affordable games industry education. Students are able to showcase their research, skills, and game projects alongside professional studios.
