Exploration Program
The starting point for figuring out if a career in games is for you - designed for incoming freshmen and rising sophomores.
Over the course of this program, you’ll dive into various industry roles and collaborate in small teams to bring your creative visions to life. ​​​

Every Friday from 5:30 PM to 7:45 PM at the City College of New York
Professional Development
Build your career toolkit with workshops on resume writing, social media presence, networking, and group leadership - to help you land that internship or job (even if you don't know what you're looking for yet).
Guest Speaker Series
Learn directly from professionals across the games industry, in roles such as programming, design, music, art, marketing, management, and more.
Team Projects
Work with your peers to brainstorm, design, and develop games, receiving ongoing feedback and guidance from mentors.
Eligibility & Requirements
Freshman or sophomore standing at any college or university with an active EGD membership

3 hours a week, including 75% attendance rate on Friday from 5:30-7:45PM
(Religious accommodations granted)

At the end of their first semester, students are able to declare their intention to become a fellowship candidate and begin their academic concentration early.
Literally, those Friday nights got me through freshman year. [EGD] has opened up doors that I couldn’t have dreamt of... helping me socialize, giving me hope that I actually can accomplish what I want to do in life, and that I can be happy with who I am.
